DeliverMe
On Demand Green Delivery
Digital Creative Consultant / 2020-2021
The Brand.
DeliverMe is a tech startup, focused on offering an affordable delivery solution to local restaurants. Inspired by the plight of the 2020 global pandemic, and the harsh regulations placed on local businesses. As well as the unfair dependence restaurants have with 3rd party delivery services.
The DeliverMe team have an integration first approach and aim to develop an incredibly strong relationship with restaurants by building a community of customers around them and offering them the food they already love, at the prices they’re already accustomed to.
Logotype.
The brand identity developed for DeliverMe is meant to depict a playful personality. With muted primary colours called Yale Blue and Paradise Pink is intended to portray a level of playful professionalism.
The Logotype continues to illustrate that playfulness through rounded sans serif. The DeliverMe Logomark is a symbol that depicts an abstract side profile of a bicycle, which also forms an abstract “d” & “m” conjoined to depict a map route. With the customer being the destination, which is illustrated by the coloured dot.
Web Development.
The development of a responsive format for mobile and web allows the DeliverMe brand to portray that playful yet modern digital brand aesthetic. Which is the core philosophy of the ethos of the brand.
Through the utilization of modern design principles and the implementation of motion has given the DeliverMe website the feeling of being alive. Ultimately once the brand is ready to go to market, the site will serve as an informative place where restaurants can gain access to a network of delivery drivers, giving them the ability to reach their customers online without the need to solely rely on 3rd party restaurant delivery app, like UberEats & Mr D.

Logo Animation.
The DeliverMe logo animation utilizes a simple 2D animation style that illustrates the core ethos of the business, which is sustainable restaurant delivery. Because the current state of restaurant delivery is too high of a cost to pay, environmentally, for the convenience of having your favourite food delivered.
In order to consistently create a “Good First Impression,” it was decided to incorporate a GIF version of the logo animation into all staff members email signatures which they will use for external communication.

Conclusion.
The development of a uniform brand aesthetic will be a continued effort over the coming years. As the brand established itself, it will be important to maintain a strong aesthetic across all of the brand’s digital touchpoints. Similarly, to all other projects I have worked on, the DeliverMe brand shows incredible promise if
they manage to achieve what their business aims to achieve. The philosophy at the core of DeliverMe and their aim in offering an affordable restaurant delivery solution is an important issue in light of a Post-Covid landscape. The playful brand culture and aesthetic is an aesthetic that I feel will
resonate with modern consumers, coupled with their desire to operate sustainably is really a unique selling point for DeliverMe. The coming years will prove whether that is the case, but I’m excited to see the startup grow.
